Children

Child Guard, “Passive Exposure Testing”.
Child Guard is a proactive tool for children in an at risk environment. Child Guard can provide information about the child’s environments for the past three months and is a simple to administer substance detection test using hair.

Child Guard puts the emphasis on the child’s environment and is the only test designed to register passive exposure. A positive result indicates the child has experienced one or more of the following:
- Passive inhalation of drug smoke
- Contact with drug smoke
- Contact with sweat or sebum (skin oil) of a drug user
- Contact with the physical drug substance
- Accidental or intentional ingestion of illegal drugs

Child Guard tests for the following:
- Amphetamine/Methamphetamine
- Cannabinoids (THC/Marijuana)
- Cocaine (Crack and Cocaine HCI)
- Phencyclidine (PCP)
